June 1rst, 2003 may very well mark our Doomsday

Planet X. An oddity of a planet, it circles the sun in an elliptical orbit. It takes about 3600 Earth years to complete it's orbit. At it's farthest point from the earth, it is about half a light year away (that is far). As it moves back toward the rest of our solar system, it travels at incredible speeds, and by the time it swerves around to head outward again, it has a tremendous gravitational and magnetic pull on our earth. Thus, it will cause the earth to shift on its axis, stop spinning for 72 hours, and kill off 90% of the earth's Human population. Many point to artifacts from ancient civilizations as proof of this planet. Now I'm not making this up; search for it with Google, and you'll find that it is quite true. That is to say, this theory is real. Don't worry, though; there are flaws in this theory. If Planet X were moving at such high speeds when it reaches the Earth, it would be exceeding the speed necessary to break free of our solar system, and would thus float away, never to be seen. Another flaw; if the earth were to stop rotating so suddenly, alot more than just 90% of people would die. Finaly, this planet was originally 'discovered' by a civilization that lived 6000 years ago. Sure, they were very advanced with mathematics and science, but c'mon; 6000 years ago? Can we really trust them? Add to this that NASA has officially denied the (known) existance of a tenth planet, and we have ourselves a very troubled theory. But still, you never know...

Where are you from? They call it planet x because X is the roman numeral for 10. And if it is really there, it would be the tenth planet.

Another thing: the Sumerians (the people who first 'discovered' it) used an akward system of counting. So it may be that we (meaning, scientists) have the date wrong, and this planet may come something more like 100 years from now. It may not seem like much, but that could easily take this event out of one's lifetime.

What if this 'Planet X' is in fact a comet? Comets have extremely eliptical orbits... Is there any proof on how big this 'planet' really is? It cannot be larger than Pluto, because of it's location and type of orbit. So we have a small planet, about the size of the Moon, travelling some 1.500.000 - 2.000.000 km from Earth, at a speed of, say, 10.000 km/s... Not nearly enough to destabilize the Earth's rotation/orbit.
But, if I'm wrong (and I'm not), then I agree with Huffer -- I hope we ALL die. At least that would solve the problem of the amount of stupidity in space reaching a critical point...

i did a google search for "June-1st,-2003 Planet-X" and I didn't find any pages thats related to armageddon.

I look at the space news I see no predictions about the dooms day..

i find this all BS.

On Google, search for "planet x nasa" and click on the second link for a detailed article. I assure you, there is a theory. I'm not saying the theory is true, but it does exist. As for it being the size of Pluto, 'they' are predicting that it is slightly larger than Earth, but with the mass of Jupiter. In fact, some think it is a "brown dwarf" star, and not a planet at all.

ok I read some articles about the planet x thingie. it said it would most likley to cause some cataclysm but it didn't say june 1st 2003 but it did say as early as june 2003.. the day wasn't specified according to the articles.
