btw, hornets are the hottest fighters in existence.. i don't care if they are slower than black eagles or have smaller payloads.. i just love them. when i get the cash, i'm gona buy so many armed hornets that i've got enough to overpower a country.

What are Black Eagles? I heard that they're supposed to be some kind of fighter-bombers employed by the South Koreans, but I thought it was fictional (heard aboout it in Red Alert 2. I never thought they were real .

nop-well the black eagles in ra2 is employed by the koreans to bust everything else.
but in real life (i'm pretty sure its true but i may be wrong) its a spy plane flying at like double a jetliner's ceiling height and the good part is that its top speeds are capable of out-running a sidewinder missile. in other words, you can't expect to hit a black eagle at top speed with a sidewinder coz the black eagle is faster than the missile.

The Black Eagle is a project originally started by Russia... I think it was in 1996
The Russian project's name was "The 1.42 Fighter", and it was supposed to be a cross between Sukhoi Su-37 and the MiG 31 (aerodynamics and overall shape/profile of the Su, and the materials, engines and electronics of the MiG)
It was abandoned due to lack of resources (read: money), but there was a rumor that Russians sold the unfinished project to Korea. Anyway, we'll find out sooner or later.
