Apocalypse now was one of the coolest movies I've seen it's after "The heart of darkness", IIRC.
The most stupid ones are, beyond any doubt, soap operas (mostly from Latin America, but there are a lot of similar stuff everywhere).

Mel Brooks is very good, Monty Python -- old but good, Lesley Nielsen roolz...

the most funniest yet (for me, as i don't watch too often): I Spy.. the blonde guys funny. he's also in shanghai knights ("what in our history together makes you think that i'm capable of this?" )
the most longest flashback movie: Titanic.. hell the entire movie's a flashback.
the most pointless movie series: star trek, star wars, anything with 'star' in it and is set in space. (other than starcraft if they ever make a movie)
worst movie ever: h. potter the first. the second was better but the big snake was a bit too big. the thing's bigger than a whale by length!
