Saiyan is an alien raci in DBZ/GT. It is very similar to Humans, only stronger, both body and mind.
Another great thing is that they are able to control ki (life energy), and make & use huge build-ups of it. As they fight for their life, they become stronger. The progress is divided into 5 stages: Super Saiyan, Ascendant Saiyan, Super-Ascendant, Stage 4, and Stage 5 Saiyan.
Another cool stuff: When turning Super from Normal, a Saiyan's hair turns golden yellow, and they radiate this cool aura...

Wrong. Go read the manga instead. DBZ is one cool concept, with really poor anime production. Especially the dubbed version. The scenes are overstretched to fill the time quota, dialogues are of extreme banality (totally in contrast of the comic) and voice acting is lame. This is a good example of too much creative license on the part of the producers.

There are manga-to-anime conversions that are good: Rurouni Kenshin, Love Hina, Evangelion. DBZ Anime is not one of them.

Back on topic: that is one creepy thought. I will never complain about my bad day anymore.

@ FF. I partially agree with what you said. The DBZ manga is awesome but its the anime that got me interested. The dubbed version isn't as good as it good be, the uncut is beyond belief!

@Cpbuja. It goes: Saiyan, Super Saiyan (SSJ), Accended Saiyan, SSJ 2, SSJ3 and SSJ4 (although its arguable that this isn't a from of SSJ just an advanced stage of Oozaru (another transformation a Saiyan is capable of into a large ape like creature) Theres no stage 5. Also me and my black belt say you couldn't beat the SSJ

I watched the German version, and not all of the episodes... And they use different nomenclature & definitions... Anyway, hair goes black again in SSJ 4, right?
