Cable Vs ADSL

Which is more reliable if they are both 512/128? Disregarding the reliability of the service provider...

I thought ADSL runs on the cable. Be specific, what protocol the cable use?..

ADSL is reliable if you like streaming stuff.

If you have both at that speed, then most likely ADSL will be much better. Speeds will be more constant than with cable. Of course, it totally depends on how well the service is as well with the ISP. If the service cuts out every 2 hours on ADSL, than its constant speed isnt worth jack.

I have cable and never had any problems in over 2 years.
Maybe a few hours without connection in all that time, but ADSL is always regarded as more reliable.
