Battleships

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Found a funny game called Battleships.

I used to have a game like this, always played it with my little brother.
I'm still busy playing my first try.
Enjoy

Edit: I won, I won !
They couldn't find my sub, I blew up their entire fleet
The enemy did sink my battleship and aircraft carrier though

Science is knowledge.
Knowledge is power.
Time is money.
power = work/time
therefore, knowledge= work/money
therefore, money = work/knowledge
therefore, money is inversely proportional to knowledge.

therefore,

The more knowledge you have, the less money you have.

EDIT: cool ! i won again! but my sister lost

I lost! It was close. I couldn't find its mine-hunter, and it couldn't find my sub until the very end. Struck one hit at the mine-hunter, but next hit missed. His turn: struck 3 successive blows on my sub.

Great game! thanks.

Glad you like it
I have done one more try but got my ass whooped.

Edit: Played one more and won, score 3940 now, same as Tach
I dont know how they calculate the score tho, maybe time/turns and/or ships you have left.

Amazing how the simplest of games can be so entertaining. I won, by the way...

I suck. I won with only my submarine intact. Oh yeah, the score was 3840. When you get down to the last ship, the game kinda devolves into a logic puzzle. I.e. how big is the comps' last ship and how many consecutive blank spaces haven't I tested? if the answer is a 3 block ship, and there are only 3 areas where there are 3 blocks in a row...then it's just a matter of time and luck. Fun game, btw. Cheers.
