Privateer 2 anyone?
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Can anyone post a link where Privateer 2 can be downloaded/upload it somewhere? I live in Bulgaria and cant afford buying the game and i really want to play it.
It's about time the assholes on here that post utterly pointless and completely unamusing responses were banned!
You can get it here:-
http://www.the-underdogs.org/game.php?gameid=4090
The full version comes on 3 CDs, to accomodate the ingame FMV movies, but this version is only 53Mb, so they're obviously not included !!

Storyline was a little weak!
SPOILER RAFAEL - Don't read next paragraph
Hotshot pilot, son of mafia boss, who'll be boss himself soon, gets ill, loses memory and jealous younger twin brother tries to kill him off, so he can be top dawg!
I agree about the sound being unintelligible some of the time, but the acting was pretty decent, and there were some well known actors playing the parts!
The region of space you could fly around was very small though.

The only problem with Privateer 2 that I've found is that it won't run under ANY version of Windows later than 95 (and it'll only run under Win95 if you bypass the windows code and make your own config.sys and autoexec.bat files to load up DOS and the necessary drivers). This is quite a shame as a lot of Origin games are like that (well, at least 3 4 that I know of: Wing Commander 4, Privateer 2, and Crusader: No Remorse/Regret). It's gotten to the point where I just want to piece together my old Pentium Pro-200 and put Win95 back on it. Cheers.
