To all your X-Men Freak and fans out there!

Hello foklks!

After seeing X-2 ... after I watched the end (I was indeed pissed because I didnt know about the Phoenix thing) ... actually I am a big n00b in the X-Men universe. So I downloaded the five seasons of the X-Men series (not X-Men evolition) and will buy X-Men Essentials #1-4 as some fans asked me...

Will that be enought to understand and know X-Men well enought?

Thanks

Yah, but then you'll be dissapointed cuz they chopped a lot of the story to fit for theatrical showing to people who arn't familiar with the Pheonix Saga.

I dont understand tho. Why were u pissed? The whole Pheonix thing was intended to stirr up thought and curiousity.

I was pissed because I thought Brian Singer wanted to remove Jean from the future movies and I didn't understand this sudden death (when Nightcrawler could have easily saved Jean) since I didn't know anything about the Phoenix I thought she was dead for good... see

I started to watch the 4 first episodes of season 1 ... pretty good but it seems magneto has powers never seen in the movies and Jubile and Gambit and Beast and Morph are not in the movie either... I also want to know where Rogue got her powers and her white hair so I'll watch the other episodes in Hope to find answers

Actually, Beast is in the movie. His real name is Hank McCoy, and you saw him on the news in the movie for a brief second. I dont know why but he looked human and didnt have any fur.... Maybe its something Singer is saving for Xmen3.

Henry started off looking like a normal human. Then the blue hair started a little. He shaved it off once and well....now he's a furball

Julibee was in both Movies (In the first one, she's in Prof X's Office when Wolvie walks in, she's wearing a yellow jacket, and in the second she can be seen shocking the wall of the cell that she is in, on Strykers base, and then later on when Prof X is taking the English Class, she asks him if he's ok)

Beast original didn't have blue fur, it was the result of a lab accident.

Rogue, in the Comic and Cartoon used to be a member of Mystique's Brotherhood of Mutants. In the Comic she was fighting The Avengers and held on to Carol 'Ms. Marvel' Danvers too long and got her Flying and Super Strengh powers for good. She then left the Brotherhood and joined The X-Men. In the Cartoon Mystique got Rogue to steal this Prototype Jet, bet Ms. Marvel turned up and then Mystique told Rogue to hold Ms. Marvel. This gave her Ms. Marvels powers.

Hope this helps

So was Muir Island. There was a folder on it, on the screen near the folder on Cerebro.

You people are amazingly observant

Post Thu May 08, 2003 3:35 pm

Yeah, did you see the movie more than once or something ?

Post Thu May 08, 2003 3:45 pm

I know you guys are gonna hate me for this, but in the cartoon, I think Jean Grey and the whole phoenix thing sucks *ss. Jean's just so whiney, I don't like her at all. Mystique, now that's a different story .

Post Thu May 08, 2003 5:41 pm

In the original xmen, i thought rogue got her white hair strand from when magneto (i think) tried to change her into a mutant...you know, that spinning thing on the statue of liberty
