what is the best video editor you use to edit movies and convert them to .avi or .mpeg or .rm (can that be?) I personally use Windows Movie Maker but it is somewhat reduce the original quality from divx...

im learning how to use imovie its the first video editing software ive used but from what i have seen its pretty good, ive already made some pretty funny stuff, with random footage from easter
