I played IDWAR 2 (Deluxe) - somewhat below my expectations, but otherwise okay. Never finished it though, since I never got it how to beat the main bad guys' base (the ones who've been plotting both against the indies and the commonwealth) - they just dragged me in with some tractor beam, and that was game over. After some time I just stopped trying.
Lander... never understood how to control it properly. good thatI didn't buy it (a friend of mine wanted to sell me his copy, but good that I tried it before buying).
I also have and old game - European war, but I have no pedals for rudder control, so after trying it I decided to stay away to real craft sims.
Among the ones I didn't like also counts Bang!Gunship elite - strange and boring.
Maybe this is about it - I haven't played too many games (I don't count demos).

sims.. it was kinda kool at first, but i kinda freaked when the guy pissed in his pants after seeing a ghost, and everyone died within minutes when i sold off all exit from the pool . . . i was broke, so i sold all their memorials. . .

Tib Sun was ok but the AI was really over the top IMO five mins in and I get rushed by a Mammy Mk2 and Wolves... Not funz0rz!

@Heltak: Were you playing skirmish or campaign? I played campaign on all levels, and nothing like this happened to me, though sometimes you get attacked by really tough guys, but as soon as you wipe them out, you're free from attackers for some time.

Force 21 was very cool! Tiberian Sun .... blech. A waste of acting talents. Gameplay was ok, but story was crap.

Here's my list of games that I thought sucked. Luckily I got a lot of these for 5 or 10 bucks so it didn't matter that they sucked. A lady from my church was collecting PC games to send to Kuwait so our guys had something to do so I sent most of these over there. Even a sucky game is better than sitting around in the sand.

Independence War - I couldn't even get through the tutorial without getting my butt kicked

Bang Gunship Elite - This game looked cool but I played one mission and it was super boring.

The Sims - This game doesn't really suck, but to me it seems pretty pointless. I realize that mine may be a minority opinion because this game and it's sequels are wildly popular. I like building houses, but I get bored telling the people what to do all the time.

1602 - It looks pretty cool but I found it completely boring it was really hard to build stuff and almost impossible to fight anyone.

Lords of the Realm - my cousins love this game, but I never could figure it out. I could kick some butt at first but then all my people starve and I run out of money.

That Khondor game - I got this game and I was reading the manual and the designers said that they were trying to get away from the roll-playing formula where you fight and get tougher. I like that formula.

Kings Quest - just plain dumb

The Hunt for Red October - really old game. I got it from Santa one year. No matter what I did the Red October got sunk.

There's other crappy games out there. Some games are so bad that it has to be on purpose. Do these guys get up in the morning and say, "today I'm gonna make a crappy game"?

you build stuff, fair enough, but you don't get to attack your enemies. they just appear out of this signpost. weird?? i can't figure out how to build or dig for that matter, a moat. and the conquering strongholds ar ekinda dumb. they've got boody traps everywhere !!

my niece seems to like stronghold very much.. i myself dont get it tho...

I really like Stronghold, but Stronghold Crusader is a million times better, they walk out to your keep from the signposts, to dig moats, you have to open the GATE BUILD OPTIONS panel and set where the moat will be, then you select soldiers (only certain types) and after you scroll over the area theres a shovel, you left click and they dig it out, pretty simple really. As for assaulting the enemy, many of the missions have you building and commanding a castle, but theres quite a few aswell that have you simply defending from the assaulting enemy until you reach a certain goal while under siege from them. Be happy that those are most of them, the ones where you assault castles is where your extremely outnumbered and at a disadvantage as you assault. Mutliplayer is awesome too, if you gonna buy it buy Crusader since it has skirmish, a bigger campaign, random maps, all these other extras. BTW, my top 5 suckiest games in no particular order are:

1.) Any game in the C&C Series (hammy, boring, and the biggest balancing atrocity in all of gaming history IMO)
2.) Any Sims game (come on, ill spare my breath giving a reason for this)
3.) Battlefield 1942 (Just hated it, i even played the expansion, i tried to like it, i really did, but Operation Flashpoint was my BF1942)
4.) Half Life and Half Life Counter-Strike (massive deathmatch, period, theres nothing else to say)
5.) BattleCruiser Millenium Gold (such great and big expectations, such low and boring executions)
