Yup.. thought about that. And uh.. Nope.. not my connection. site loads fine, database lags. It's the router. I will bet money on it. Maybe you simply have more patients than I do.

Ah, you have to love threads like this one.

Truly entertaining. Of course, it would be so much better if people used proper grammer and spelling. But I guess you can't expect that level of intelligence from someone who finds justification in complaining about a forum that no one else is complaining about. You have to appreciate that logic.

I am reminded of a Far Side comic. It's a huge, empty hall, filled with tables and chairs. The sort of place you would hold a large convention. Except, at this convention there are only three people. And the banner with the name of the convention says "DLDWWS". It's the annual general meeting of the Didn't-Like-Dances-With-Wolves-Society.

So it looks like about 99% of the people on this forum have no problem with the forum itself, but one person has some trouble with it and so they decide that, obviously, it is the forum that "sucks".

BTW.. I timed it.. If I click a Forum link.. Like "Freelancer: Freelancer Discussion"

It takes 9 seconds for the header to display (NP).. And an additional 23 seconds for all the topics to be downloaded from the database.. This is a server side issue. And I've had this happen on my forums. The problem was fixed when liquidpages replaced a router.. I have no idea if the same problem applies to these forums. But it is lagging none the less.

I just hit "stop" when the header loads, and all the topics show up right away. I see zero problems.
