I currently don't have lecture, and I can do my school project at home on my pc. I keep the TLR forums open and refresh it every 5 minutes.

Yeah, I used to post here a lot more often before FL's release, getting pretty tired of the flame wars and repeat questions on the "Discussion" forum ( note the quotes ).

I understand your position Tasiin.....

But you gotta admit....Sometimes Noobs (even some vets) have trouble finding information about subjects.

Lot of times they will look at the forums and not know how they can list forums that haven't been posted in for a few days....Took me a week before I figured that out.

While the Forums look great...It is sometimes difficult to find something, so people will repost it. I know some of the vets of the board get tired of seeing the same questions over and over.

I've only been here a short time myself....and I am seeing the same things over and over again. It does get tiresome to see 3 or 4 threads a day about that <censored> Dexter Hovus Race mission....I know a lot of people have had no probs with it, but a LOT of people did have trouble with it.

I get a kick out of the ones that ask for help, and are replied to very curtly by the vets, or are downright insulted....Example:

N00b: Can someone help me with such and such
Vet: WTF? That was the easiest part in the game, you loser. Figure it out on your own.

I know this hasn't REALLY happened to my knowledge....But I have seen similar stuff.

As for the "Flame Wars", I have seen some of them around here, and it's a lot of the time caused by miscommunication, or that sarcasm really doesn't translate too well into text....

What people have to realize is that this is not solely a Dutch, German, American, or whatever other nationalities are out there...Its for Every fan of SL and FL out there, that has questions or whatever reason for coming here. This really is not a place for hatred....Except for Dexter Hovus. I hate him...

We have to remember, that even tho we are all gamers here, we are in different countries that may have different values...Like for instance...in some countries it is concidered an insult to show someone the bottoms of your feet...or it being customary to belch after a meal you enjoy....or even in some European countries (or so I hear) Slurping your soup is customary....where here in America, that is concidered rude in most circles.

We are all human beings, and most of us adults. Let's act like it around here.

I haven't really found any one poster here that annoys me...If I annoy someone, then I apologize....<holding out the proverbial olive branch>

I know what you're talking about and I've seen it before, even done it when I'm on a short fuse - especially if the person could have answered their own question by reading the manual or doing a quick skim of the forum.

I drop in from time to time - too overloaded with work to be here for long, but I check the forums everyday (well, except for FL forums, since I don't have the game yet )

Well, i don't actually spend all day/night here. But i have semester holidays (university) at the moment so I have quite a lot of spare time on my hands and i'm enabled to stay up all night and do my stuff. I'm a total night person and while doing so i every so often check the forums to see if there is something new.

But nonetheless do i have to agree that i'm here pretty often which i better should cut back a little. It's quite addictive.
