This war is pointless, they should have finished this when they had the chance the first time ( im talking about the first gulf war in the early 90's )

Agreeing with kaneheart, but at the same time I feel that this really doesn't belong here... the world's bad enough, no need to mar one of the few perfectly fun places with dark news. =/

Well I see it Busb Bin Ladin and this other guy. Can't spell name no pint trying are all bad. I think there all now War Crimnals. USA. not saying usa it's self but bush trying take over. If he wants that guy dead witch death should never become at all. They can send troops in and to arrest him for war criminals and stuff. You know the world cort. THey dont need to drop bombs. It's one man. USA have sattilites all over they can see where he is i bet that day whent hey see him they sends cover ops and go pick him up. force may be used if somone tries to stop you. but going and throwing boms on people who live there just stop a guys whos bad does nto make it right. Each person bush kills he should get the = punishment that there is int he laws there. besides death. I think it's wrong to kill a man.

we've been trying to find osama for over a year now...find suddam will be harder.

Post Fri Mar 21, 2003 1:58 am

lets hope they do catch him,and not kill him,put him in prison so all the familys of the people he has killed can visit him every day and spit on him or something, chances are though,he will most likely go in to hiding and we wont catch him.

I know that these are all just opinions (strong ones), but I think we are definitely doing the right thing in hunting Saddam and Osama. I have a friend whose family recently 'escaped' Iraq. No matter how much peace people preach and are against killing people, these people over there are tought to HATE America and everything we beleive in, including, freedom of religion and capitolism. These people won't stop hating us if we leave them alone. Remember it was Osama who attacked us on 9/11 and not only is Saddam criminal and a truly evil person, he has no remorse for killing his own people, he has supported and harbored Osama.

All of my support goes to the coalition forces in the Middle East! If you guys have been paying attention then you know that American forces are performing surgical strikes to minimize the casualties and focus on the people they really want to get. They are giving Iraqi troops the opportunity to surrender and wait on the sidelines until the current regime is eliminated. The massive bombing strikes that everyone is crying about will only happen if there is no other way to break down a bulk of Iraqi forces. We're being careful in this war. We're trying to give the population of Iraq freedom. I think it's funny how the Iraq government kept claiming they had no illegal weapons but yet they just fired several missiles at coalition forces that were already declared illegal. Iraq said some of those weapons they didn't have and that the ones they did have were being destroyed. Even Iraqi troops that have defected said that Saddam Hussein has biological and chemical weapons. Iraq never had any intention of disarming peacefully. When this war is over, you will all see how blind and worthless the United Nations really is.

Please folks, this issue is bound to cause serious arguments and very strong emotional outbursts. Let's just hope this all ends fast with the fewest casualties possible, on both sides. Locking thread.
