Must finish the game!!! Why does it end at jupiter??
To Digital Anvil:
I have spoken to many others and we all feel the same way. You left us hanging. Why do you end it at Jupiter? We never made it to the asteroid belt Mars and the rest of the inner solar system. Please finish with starlancer 2 beggining at fort bear jupiter station. Here are some ideas we all want to see in lancer 2.
-dog fight in jupiters atmoshphere with clouds of hydrogen and methane all around. For ideas of how to make this see the book about solar planets titeled "the grand tour" by ron millar for the illustrations i think. the reason we want this is because we noticed on the opening cinematic that there were basalisk fighters attacking over the titan surface terrain, indicating that these fighterships could fly over a planetary surface.
-definately a dogfight ove the martian surface with the mountains and rocky red soil
-we want to get stranded alone in the asteroid belt and pursued by colition hunting parties.
-we want a feature in the options menu where we can remove some of the background art work at will like the galaxy and some of the nebulas. Not that you did not do a great job on the art work but we like realism too. actually we agreed that it would feel more thrilling to be in deep black space with nothing but the sun and the stars. maybe a small nebula here and there. but no galaxy. at least make it an option to remove these things.
-also we would like a reason to have to warp to the planet mercury with a large sun blazing "nearby"
-then a final battle in earth orbit with a realistc image of the earth like you do with the other planets.
please do this for us: many of us agree on these ideas. please finish the storyline for us. thank you
