TLR Coverage

So.. one month to go and no news or whatsoever on the frontpage regarding Mass Effect.

Dont get me wrong, but I see this is turning out to be like the TLR coverage of DS1 and SpaceForce2 - no "real" news, nothing to interest page visitors.
Other mass effect sites have loads of news, and here you only read "we gonna cover that game, stay tuned".

Just have a look at the news archives of February 2003, and you will see why this site has become the Number 1 FL website. At certain days, there were over 5 news concerning FL and I dont think they were submitted by the community.
What is the situation now?
Apart from user-contributed news, I dont see anything special.

i think its a little early to say - remember TLR was organically grown around a community, not stitched together to be just another 'we talk about games' site. if you want to grow a new community, in essence, you'll have to have something special to offer. E.G. TLR is what it is because it was the biggest and best FL site when there was a very large demand for more information, like hints secrets strategy guides etc, and being prominently linked to on the official page probably didn't hurt in collecting that special knowledgebase that's basically what -must- happen, to get any activity going in this forum. also how much news can a game like mass effect actually create once it's out? dunno yet..

i didn't appreciate being told to keep any negative opinions i might arrive at, after playing the game, to myself. I will play this game but I'm not sure I want to post to a forum where honest opinions are unwelcome ( how many times has someone said FL sucked? that did not kill the game and thats because it doesn't, didn't and never will suck. sucky game development kills games, not underwhelmed and irate fans. )

I won't play this game unless it comes to pc.

I know a proportion of people may own an xbox360, but i think careful direction and choice is needed and then major effort/input into fulfilling the criteria done.

Otherwise "jack of all trades, master of none" rings a bell

Mass Effect was just acquired by EA. Maybe you can petition them to make a PC release.

I'm with Chips on this one as well. No PC no buy. I do hope it does come to PC it does look good but I am not going to buy an Xbox or any other console to play a game.
