The SWAT Portal

OK before i start posting about the projects of the SWAT-Portal id like to introduce the portal itself.

SWAT was created by a bunch of old Starlancer players which also did run the most professional SL clan at that time. Those players always had a close eye on the development of Freelancer and as the release came closer and closer these guys decided to create a Freelancer clan (this FL does still exist and is the oldest still existing FL clan).
Out of the need to organize everything the 2 leaders created the SWAT-Portal with the purpose to create a place for players that play various games.

The Portal grew rapidly and more clans were created (some of became "top clans" in their games) and it didnt take long until modding started (first FL mod that was developed in SWAT was called Brainbug addon).
Over the past years about 15 different mods were created... starting with small tournament mods leading to giant mods such as the BloodGuard RPG and Crossfire. Not all mods were published on LR because at the early times of FL we didnt really see the need to involve LR in this (better times - you know).

Today SWAT - which means Special War Avenging Team (due to the last Starlancer wars which destroyed almost all SL clans) - is home of thousands of players, modders, coders, graphic designers and who ever else finds the way to us.
We currently run various projects such as Crossfire, Blaster Universe, SirEx, Starlancer Online, Starlancer: The Sol War, Starlancer Reborn and various not public developments around Freelancer and other games.

Some of those projects id like to introduce here on the SWAT boards of LR and id like to do this undisturbed. No flames and no crap talk about members of this community plz.
If you have questions and see that i dont answer them here on the forum then write a mail (maybe i have good reasons not to answer them here).
