Stuck on mission 15

I'm stuck on mission 15.

I've had the game for a few years now but got stuck on this mission and haven't gone back to this game until now. Once again, I'm stuck on it.

The problem is I either shoot one of my guys and I'm taken in to the firing squad or nothing happens...I just keep flying escorst for an eternity.

I shoot as many torpedos as possible but I've never been able to shoot them all down. I usually just loose a nany ship or 2 but for some reason, the Reliant is never there after the torpedo attacks. So when they are over I'm just left flying escort for an eternity. Nothing ever happens after. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? The walkthroughs say a cut scene is supposed to take place with the reliant ramming into an enemy carrier.

This part was really buggy on my comp. I went into the cutscene on left view and my comp froze. Had to reboot and be very careful and it worked.

Try re-installing. If that doesnt work, just use an editing program and skip to the next mission.

Mission 15? Is that the one where you're sent to patrol an area with strange readings, get ambushed, see the Reliant destroyed, defend the Victorious and help the Yamato with two cruisers? I never had any problems with it. The cutscene always made my computer freeze, but if you wait a while it slowly comes back. I've never heard of it leave you escorting the convoy for eternity though. Only advice I could give you is replay it and hope the bug doesn't bother you... and check your fire, pilot!

I thought this was the mission where Capt. Foster nails an enemy carrier using the Reliant like a rapier, and then your home ship becomes the Yamato and you get to bunk with the Ronin.

Hehe, that last one wasn't true .

Ah good, I was right. I didn't think post #1 was very thorough in its description, but then I noticed that it mentioned the cutscene anyway... duuuh, lol
