Is *anybody* playing this game?

My basic feeling on this game is it's got nothing except wasted potential.

I's as interesting as SP Freelancer after you finish the campaign, except with a strong mining element. (Oh, joy heaped upon joy.

)

It was more rushed than the initial release of X3, and hasn't been fixed. (Well, very slightly, but the patch was zero-substance, as predicted.)

-- Well, I'll interrupt myself and remark only that the list of severe problems goes on for days.

So I wonder if anybody who was kicking around the idea of trying this game actually did so. Any success enjoying it?

I haven't seen it in stores as yet. To play it, will depend on system requirements as my desktop is a little weak with only 64mb vid mem and 1gb ram

I haven't even thought about the game for awhile. I did however found X3 for sell for 4 dollar brand new, so I'll be enjoying that for a bit.
Most game stores like EB and Gamestop have the game but for 30 dollars and remembering how bad the game looks it seemed like a waste to even bother. Maybe when Gogamer throws it up for less then 10 dollars I might give it a whirl.

I didtoo.It's pretty cool but i just wanted a map and better controls. SF2 has better graphics, but FL has faster gameplay (cruise engines and tradelanes allow you to move faster ^^) and IMO far better controls...

Summing it all up: SF2 is kinda boring and uncool...

But all this is IMO...

I played it in story line and free play had a lot of problems with it but I did like it if they do part 2 I will get it hope they do a better job testing it I think I like free lancer better it was more thought out and tested alot better and more fun to play.
