From what I gather, when the game comes out, no, single player only. But possibly later on down the road. And already answered by Eerazor

7. Asked many times and answered many times. We are aiming for an exceptional single player experience. We currently have no plans for Multiplayer before the official release of the game. How do you tell if you're talking to a War Hammer 40Ker? Look at his hands, is there several shades of red paint under his fingernails? Are two or more fingers glued together? Does he have cuts on his fingertips where the X-Acto knife slipped? If you answered yes to two or more questions, drop the word "Tau" in a sentence, if he gets mad and leaves, then he's a gamer.

i loved FL single player and when i play FL in multiplayer i play it liek single player, i dont get involved with clans or PK or anything like that....i just liek to know im not the only one around, and that amassing wealth and a good ship means more


without multiplayer theres pretty limited replayability in a game
