FS v1.75 & FC

Sorry for the confusing title guys.

I have the FrontierSpace 1.75 mod, and the Freelancer Companion utility, and i get a considerable amount of errors in the Freelancer Companion Log report. Having been away for a great deal of time from Freelancer, i would like to get back into it. My preference is trading and not purely combat.

Is there a compatable mod available for the Freelancer Companion utility that would suit my purposes. I got the FrontierSpace mod because it certainly looks good, especially having a greatly expanded Freelancer universe

It appears that using the FL Scan utility shows errors only in the single play missions of the mod, so i assume the Freelancer Companion may be at fault. AS i don't particulaly want to do missions it's not a problem.

A couple of questions..........

The readme states to instal the SP mod after the Frontier mod, but FLMM pops up an error saying SP conflicts with the mod. Whats the correct installation for this.

Is there any way of reducing the enemy attack rate, i had to restart several times from the pittsburg base just so i could set in my waypoint co-ordinates, because as soon as i left the planet gate, i would get shot down by loads of fighters. The same happens when i eventually got to New Tokyo station to unload my cargo, as soon as i left the facility i would get blown up by several fighters.

usually theres no way to reduce the combat level the mods are made hard for the reason of a challenge . like the mods i put together i add freelancer war on the nomads so you dont know when a nomad attack can happen . just be fast on the gun and kill kill kill .

Thanks for the reply. It's just that sometimes there are many other craft about, and a strong police deterrant, but i still seem to become the main target for a dozen or so fighters as soon as i leave base. Logic doesn't seem to be right whereby loads of fighters would attack one craft in a heavily defended sector, and all risk being destroyed for what could amount to an empty cargo hold.

well i used to play epsilon and you had the pirates and the elementals i think they were called would chase you down even going at full speed with modded thrusters going at 990

tictoc, Frontierspace 1.75 has two FLMM files in the ZIP, "Frontier space_v175.zip.flmod" is all you need if your a player as the other is for serverOPs. New York has been drastically altered killing the story so Frontierspace is an OpenSP & MP only, 1.75 has OpenSP integrated into it unlike previous versions that were seperate mods.

but i still seem to become the main target for a dozen or so fighters as soon as i leave base
that's Freelancer for you, your everybodies target even in unmoded FL, in mods that increase the difficulty of the NPCs surviving can be hard, moders don't always take other players flying skills (or lack of) in to consideration.
