Buffalo Base

Ive started the game not too long now, and I decided to join the factions like Rogues and Outcasts by killing the Navy and whatnot. Right now, I cant save because I dont know where any Rogue or Outcast bases are, and the Navy/Police wont let me dock in theirs. What sector is Buffalo Base in? And is there a way to save in space, maybe with a patch I dont have?

For bufalo, try due south of Manhatten, in the midst of dark rock. For more info, try the spoiler forum.

as to saving in space, there is a way thats done, when you jump a hole or gate, the game auto saves.

Ya i noticed the bit about autosaving in jump nodes cause I left it on cruise and came back dead.

Well ive flown all around the debris just south of manhatten, do you mean the dark cloud further south? Also, what sector is it in exactly?

here are the co-ords"

E7, in the upper right corner, more or less

plus, if you are doing the story and haven't left Liberty yet, you will have a mighty hard time docking at Buffalo

If you want to find out where any bases are, go on the nav map and go on patrols. Than look where the patrol paths head and follow them. you should eventually find what your looking for. this is probably the easiest way to find thing on the map. I use it for jumpholes by looking at the rouge patrol paths.
