quick rep fixes

hi,
I just got freelancer a couple of weeks ago and quickly beat the SP campaign, and I promptly began cruising the galaxy, (damn, is it big). I rapidly built my net worth to 900K, and I had planned to pick up a Titan, (still using an Anubis). However, my problem is that my rep with the Corsairs is in the toilet, and no matter what i try, IT WONT GET BETTER! No NPC I've met willl offer a bribe to repair a rep w/the Corsairs, and I am on the verge of giving up the idea of a Titan. Does anyone have any sugguations for a newbie?

If i remember correctly,there is a bribe for the corsairs at freeport 9,omi theta..failing that go and blow up a dozen or so Hessians...the corsairs will like u for that


and like a phoenix i'll return from the ashes....with the help of the re-spawn key

Decimate either Hessians or Outcasts or, alternativley, if you intend to be an overall criminal, GMG and BHG, in conjunction with corporations and house authorities. I reccomend Omega-5 for Hessians, Texas for Outcasts, Sigma-19 for GMG, and a wide variety of locations for BHG (such as sigma-19 or Texas, conveinlently enough.

The titan is a poorly manuevering ship,and the turret shoots backwards only. The only good thing about is the armor.I can get enough firepower from the turret on a Sabre to take down a titan in a headon shootout,all other factors being equal,and in an eagle,I can stay behind both the titan and the sabre,although I cant get the turret around unless I'm in a tight turn.

If he wants a titan, permit him to retain one, it's really none of yout concern, he just posed a query pertaining to the optimization of his rep. w/ a specific faction.
