Probibly wrong fourm, but it is kind of a newb question.

Okay, for those of you who want me to contiue with Project Revolution, I need to play Freelancer with some mods to get back in the state of mind required. I was just getting into experimenting with different mods for freelancer, just DLed the mod mannager and am about to get the Crossfire MOD. Now, here is my newbie question. I know that these kinds of MODS can wreak havok on your system, so my question is, (here it comes, possibly the n00biest of all questions) how do I back up my game files and anything else I need to? I do not want to have to do a complete reinstall of Freelancer just because I want to experiment with a MOD. If some one could be helpfull and tell me how to do this then I will greatly appreciate it, and I can get into my fantasy Freelancer state of mind again and contiue with my story. Please and thank you for any help you can give. I know this seems n00bish, and it's probibaly in the wrong forum, but I really don't know that much about computers.

EDIT: Oh yeah, some of you know that I'm running on a Windows 2000 system. I just thought you should know in case I need to do anything differently from what you do.

Dear Killa,....

*i'm helping you just because i wana continue the damn story , i like your work and i read it eaven if i dont post there*
You don't actully need to backup your files if your using FL mod manager (FLMM),
it dose all the work for you, and in case of any brobs their is an toll that restores all original files and delets the new/unoriginal files, so no need to worry

now go there and bring us a new chapter already

Okay, thanks. I will play Freelancer with the Crossfire MOD, and get in my fanfic state of mind. I will try to have it up in a couple of days, but with what has just happened, and I have out of state company coming over, give me about three or four days.
(I'm having a little writer's block right now.)
