Well, based on the info posted on the DS2 official website they seem to be quite concerned with having a storyline that is fleshed out a bit better. The gameplay dynamics in DS weren't bad so I don't imagine they'll try to muck that up too much. That's why a lot looks the same, I'd say.

The graphics in DSII are WAY better, as of now that is the real difference I can tell. The story in DS was a little weak IMO, hopefully they will fix that.

and i hope the closing to the game is a little better too, mybe a cinimatic or something not just a stupid box that pops up and says "congratulations you have just beat Dungeon seige"....

seriously tho what is it i've heard of it once or twice but if there was a demo its one of the few i haven't played.in your opinion is it a good game to buy/check out, in your opnion.

It's an enjoyable hack-and-slash RPG. It's pretty simple and the storyline is rather uninspired but if you enjoy just pounding the snot out of various baddies then you'll probably like it. There are some mighty fine mods too.
