Hi, i would recommend the Misc. Freelancer Database by Suberxo (Or a name similar) for the list of Base names etc. You can find it on a sticky in the Modding Utilities section of the Freelancer Editing Forum.

Speed adjustment? Whatever do you mean? If you're talking about the speed the ship goes then look in Freelancer Mod Manager and look at the Speed Mod, that could teach you a little bit to know about changing the speeds.

Keep your modding attitude straight for a successful moddingship time.
Any further questions, please reply to this thread as i will not accept any e-mails from TLR users asking for support.

For speed of engines look in the engine_equip.ini to adjust engine speed look for max_force = 72000 and divide 72000 by 600 to get the speed of that engine. If you want say an engine that has a top speed of 150 then you will need to times 150 by 600 = 90000 so max_force = 90000 which is equal to 150 engine speed. Now if you want to take longer or shorter time to get to cruise speed look for cruise_charge_time = 5 the 5 is 5 seconds just change that to how many seconds you what be it 0-6 seconds.

Now if you want to change the cruise speed you will need to add this CRUISING_SPEED = the speed you want? To the Constants.ini file under the [EngineEquipConsts section

“SISU”
(Pronounced: siss-sue)
(Meaning)
Guts, Tenacity, Steadfastness, Courage, and an Indomitable will to Succeed, and Survive.

Thank you both very much. I don't want to really mod. Just adjust the gameplay a little.
Once again, thank you.
