Gravity

Before anyone yells at me, I searched and couldnt find anything on this topic... so, im going to ask: Is there any way that a gravity effect, or something similar can be added to an object? Also, is it possible - this one i very much doubt - to make an object 'bend light'? Anybody who knows stuff about blackholes should know what im on about, but if you dont, its pretty much that theres a huge amount of gravity, so great that it bends the light. Doesnt serve much of a purpose when your close to an object, but I rekon a blackhole from maybe 150K away would do something... anyway, can anybody help with either of these?

it is possible to make a zone that will slow ships
use this code in any zone:

interference = 0.100000 (or greater- but you need .1 minimum for this to work)
drag_modifier = 1.1 (or more - 1.1 = 10% speed decrease but not in cruise mode. high drag modifiers may cause cruise engines to become warp engines )

this can be used in many interesting ways, just let your imagination guide you

What does the 'interference' bit do? and is there any way to decrease cruise aswell? btw, thanks for that info

i was doing some research on how to bend light as well.. i could not do much about it.. most i could do was create invisible effects around large surfaces.

you could, however, put a see-through image layer in an object with the shape of a wormhole and make it spin, added the pull/push effects... (see the blackhole mod.. i dont know where it is ^^; )

thats the best i could come up with.. but i'll keep looking into it.
let me know if you find out anything.
