Skipping the Cinematics

how would you skip the cinematics by pressing Esc?
it would make the game faster to complete, especially if you have played it enough times to recite the storyline flawlessly (not that i can).
but help would be appreciated.

this is what i did . i went into the program files of freelancer. in the data folder where it says movies and i deleted the whole folder. now i have no intro movies.

its not intro movies that hes talkin about, its the cut scenes between important things in the storyline. if you remove these it may cause problems as these also trigger fuses (i think) and without them (the cut scenes) the game will not function correctly, or at all.
