Netural reps

Hello, I wanna make a server, but I want it so you can just enter it... With out any trouble as in downloading mods and crap... Well The only thing I want difforent is I want, netral reps, and all jump gates/holes open. Can anyone tell me how to do this?


P.S. I basicly want it like HA-5

Well in the exe folder you will find a mpnewchatacter.fl file

open in note pad and you will see this

delete everything after the initial [locked_gates<--- closing bracket

this will unlock the gates, now I have never ran a vanilla server so I don't know if this is possible to change only server side.

I forgot if your fl files are still encoded you will need to decode them to do the initialworld.ini

I suggest installing flsdk v1.5 which can be found in the utilities and other goodies download found here flsdk v1.5

What are you talking about.
All the Jump Gates/Holes are already unlocked for MP automatically so there is absoloutly no point in editing the initianworld.ini file.

Read below for a tutoral on how to change the MP Server stats:

You will not need to decode this so don't worry.

So you get it. No initialworld.ini at all to edit if you want all your jumpgates/holes to be open for multiplayer so don't bother editing the initianworld.ini file.

I have some bad news for you, all the jumpgates and holes are NOT repeat NOT unlocked automatically in MP. The only way to unlock ALL of them has already been described and you do this BEFORE you setup the server otherwise it gets complicated. All you have to do is put a ; before any gates or holes that you want open and then start a new server.

I'd check your facts before going off and telling people what you think you know as opposed to what is actually fact. Not only that, this has been covered a zillion times in other threads, just use the search function

Well,afaIk,these are "story factoins",for example,Tekagi"s base has fc_kn_grp reputation.Fc_kn_grp_(means kusari navy) has the same name and info as ku_n_grp,but it"s always hostile to the player(and all the npc?),just to mach the singleplayer storyline,and fc_uk_grp is nutral(afaIk whatever you do with the bases that have this rep).Fc_rn_grp can be storyline rh_n_grp and so on.

But Gibbon. Whenever i start a server without editing the initialworld.ini file my server has already unlocked all jumpgate's and holes.
That is why i thought you did not need to edit the initianworld.ini file.

when you dont edit initial world ini alaska and the magellin from new york dont work neither does the thouku jump hole and alot of other jump holes you cant see. that why you have get them all with this ; check out the forum post i made in my forums
