Making new ships/editing existing ones..

Hi all. I've been searching for some kind of ship creation tutorial and found the one made by Drizzt. Well, I manage to donwload gmax and register it, and I have also a trial version of Milkshape 3D.
Well, following what that tutorial says, I have to download a gmax - milkshape 3D exportes, to use the model I created in gmax in milkshape. All right, the problem it's that I don't find that exporter. I've look in the downloads section and nothing, so I'm a bit confused.
In addition, I saw that there's an enormous bunch of importers/exporters for many modelling programs. There's any "pack" with enough plugins to can create a ship from scratch with gmax and to edit a ship from the original game and with this make a new one?

if u would like to edith ths stats i could tell u show it is kinda easy.... but edited it well it is hard cuz i suck at making ships.. i just can make some of the stats and stuff like wut lvl u need to be hull umm cargo and stuff like that
