Sounds like the files are still encrypted. Apply the SDK 1.3 to sort that out

Also how can i change the file like price wise or add or remove cargo? MAny thanks

There are two reasons for asking this one i want to make the ship that you see all the time the one with the 'ribs' be useable by the player and need some help. can anyone out there help me with this?

as for the 2nd question i dont really understand. if you are talking about in the goods.ini file its the line "price=" , if your talking about market_commodities.ini its the last number i think. 1 = 100% of price, 0.1 = 10% and 2 = 200%

that requires a hardpoint hpcargo i think. thats a little more advanced, if u want to add it to other ships get hardcmp from this site, as for the linking in shiparch.ini i believe its something like this
hp_type = hp_cargo_pod, HpCargo01, HpCargo02

easy, just did this for my mod a few weeks ago, "Ribed" transports come in two versions small (2 cargo pods) and large (3 or 4) there cmp's and sur's are in
DATA\SHIPS\UTILITY\TRANSPORT_SMALL and DATA\SHIPS\UTILITY\TRANSPORT_LARGE they do have shiparch entries but are missing a few things as well as a package. These must be added before making them flyable.

by cargo i think u mean commodities, commodity_boron is boron, nice and easy. and New london is br01_01_base


so under data/equipment/market_commodities.ini find the line br01_01_base its at the top if you have trouble just add the line
MarketGood = commodity_boron , 0, -1, 150, 500, 0, 1.080000

thats it...... if i havn't screwed up.

edit: everyones a newb at 1 point, iv only been modding for a few weeks so maybe in a few you'll be helping ppl.
