Binding and Docking

I have 2 questions:

-1 Is it possible to make a ship change it's "statistics" whan pushing a button? Like for an eksample a X-wing wich gets faster but unable to use 2 of it guns while the wings are "closed", something wich can B achived by pressing "x" or something?!

-2 Is it possible to make player conrolled docable ships? Or anything wich work about the same way?!

You CAN bind keys, but to do what you want? Not sure, T_T.
