MIPs gone crazy !!??

First HI s

I'm working on a custom eagle ( it's not that big thing, junst some stats and Hps changes and other minor things ) and it's going good exept one thing:
I'm ADDING my ship to the game and not changing an existant one, well, and i want my ship to use another map, so i made a new one put it and declared it in the shiparshe.ini (or what ever its name is) and put all the files conserning my new ship in a new folder to use it whith the FLMM,and here goes the prob: every thing is working exept the maps, its either my ship uses the new maps but all the other civil-model ships uses it too or the civil uses their map but my ship dose too.???

what's wrong and how can i fix this ?

hehe -that`s a problem that everyone had to learn once, so excuse me laughing ..
seriously there`s another layer, it`s about crcs here:
use this tool -i think there`s documentation inside, makes it very easy.

By the way, another question,
How do I chacge the cockpit's glass color and/or transparancy?

Use UTF Edit to change the Ec and Dc values- Ec for transparency levels, Dc for color.

ok 2 questions :
( 1 ) where exactly are thees Dc and Ec, i think it's in the cv_glass (i'm working
on the civilian models) but ther is not any Ec , theres DC and Oc.

( 2 ) i think i already know the answer but just making sure, can i chand the way
MIPs are maped on the module ( like puting only 1 pic on the wing instead of
tile-ing only 1 pic) i think this has to be done in the 3d-moduler before
exporting the modul to .cmp , and for my knoledge there isn't any .cmp
importers for milkshape so ( 2-b ) is there any .cmp importer for 3DsMax?

1. Dc, Oc and Ec values can be found in the CMP using UTF edit. For details, please consult my Tutorial, called, "How to Skin" that discusses the proper values, etc.

2. The short answer is, "yes". The long answer is, "read my tutorial".

2B. Yes, there's a CMP Importer for MS3D. Search for it in the Downloads section here... I garantee that it exists, and I've even used it a few times. Be warned, though- some FL models will NOT IMPORT CORRECTLY. And that's just tough. If you want to clone/change those models, you'll have to use FLModel Cloner and then do a bunch of work.
