Make sure you are running on a fresh install of Freelancer, have the latest version of FLMM, and have it doesnt hurt to have SDK installed. What mod are you trying to install?

Btw, let me know when you've seen this post, I'm going to move it to the Using MODs Help forum once you've seen this.

Could be wrong but that looks like its not pointing to Freelancer. Open FLMM go to options and click Choose a different Freelancer Directory. Then go through ur program files, find Microsoft Games/Freelancer and click ok. Don't click on any of the folders underneath Freelancer just the Freelancer folder itself. Might work.

yea i think your copy of flmm is not pointed correctly.

unistall freelancer and reinstall it using the express install option.

then uninstall and re install FLMM
it should point to
C:\program files\microsoft games\freelancer
