1:how do you add custom commodities?

2:is there a way to bind weapons to a specific ship eg. liberty weapons only for liberty ships etc

commodities, jeez, i know you have to edit goods.ini and market_commodities.ini, not sure about any others though.

about the binding weapons to certain ships, what do you mean by it? Are you trying to make it so NPC ships use certain weapons? So when you buy the ship it comes with certain weapons? Or that certain ships can only equip certain weapons?

what i mean is if you by a defender you have to buy liberty weapons or if you buy a crusader only bretonia weapons can be mounted - i think it would be a good roleplay idea

YEAH. Wait for the Prometheus MOd 2.0 to come out, it will do exactly this.

In order to achieve this, you must modify each ship to mount only guns/shields of a specific type, say Liberty class 1, Bretonia class 2 etc. Then change all Bretonia guns to class 2, and you're done!

Although, I am working on modifying the weapon and ship stats so that ships of all houses are able to compete with other rather than to just get better from one to the other house, with Rheinland being totally uber to Liberty...
