flexplorer is really good, they will only be visible if you add a jump hole/gate to them.
as for the title screen, there is a tutorial somewhere, and email the guy, he may not read this. you can go to his mod and click on the name to get the email.

Title screen is in INTERFACE/INTRO/IMAGES
