beta person thingy?

I don't know if I'm in the right forum or not, but this seemed to be the logical choice. I was wondering how one goes about the process of becoming a beta... uh person... guy thingy.

Simple, if a modder requests beta-testers, email them and inform them that you wish to help out and beta-test and ask what you need to do and where to get the beta version of the mod.

Then get the mod, play through it thoroughly, and be sure to report to the modder any bugs that you find, as well as your opinion of the mod's features (if they ask for it).

Not too hard, and often rewarding as you get a chance to play some mods before they are publicly released, plus modders are always in need of help.
