FireFly

I'm gonna fully admit I'm a HUGE fan of both FireFly the series and Serenity the movie. If you haven't see either, go out and at the least see Serenity.

What I would like to do is begin a peroject for the construction, modeling, and programming of a FireFly-class Transport; aka. The Serenity. I'd also like it dedicated to my fellow fans odf FireFly and for it to be one of the "sleeper hits" of Freelancer mods. I've seen HUNDREDS of Star Wars and Star Trek mods, and in spite my fandom towards both series, has been COMPLETELY OVERDONE.

If anyone else is a fellow FireFly fan and would like to assist a... an inexpeienced modder with this Project, due E-Mail me. Or, if you would perhpas wish to discuss the project or FireFly more, E-Mail me. I don't mind chatter.

I'd suggest talking to Imperratodd with Xtreme Team Studios. He built a near-clone of the ship flown by the heroes of that series. Hasn't been skinned yet, to my knowledge, so if you're willing to invest your time and skill, you might be able to get ahold of the model...

You can see screenies of the model over in the "show off" threads in the 3D Modeling forum. Contact Imperratodd and find out if anybody's skinned it yet. I have two of his other models, but I haven't skinned them yet- been a little too busy coding
