Ship crash when reload

ok,this is my first time.

here is my problem:
1.im export 3 files by MilkShape 3D, Ship.CMP/Ship.MAT/Ship.SUR. and edit the Hard Point by HardCMP. resize the Ship.CMP(scale all by 150) and Ship.SUR by FLModelTool. In the game, i launch to space, What never happened, but when i use F1 to reload this character the FLServer crash.



2.i have Ship.CMP Ship.MAT, and copy a .sur from original game, resize the .sur and start the game,launch is successful, reload in space is successful, but if i use F1 to reload at launching(LaunchCam showing your ship launch out from base), the Freelancer crash. im restart the game and reload the character, the Freelancer crash too. but if i use IFSO move the character to a base and relaunch to space Freelancer will not crash.



3.if i UnMount all the equipment like gun /turret /torpedo /shield /etc and launch my new ship on a planet, it will be launch to faraway places. but Station looks normal.



the Model from original game is works good. i don't known how to fix the problem.

Ok, try removing the SUR file. if that doesn't work id be happy to take a look at it for you

that ship come from Starlancer,name is BADANOV(CS_BADANOV2.SHP).

I want to found a way to make a normal sur file. All the new ships have these problems.

thats a nice ship b/w, it may be a case of a bad export or import, luckily i have star lancer so if this is broken, i have all the necessary files here

apologise for the double post.

think i have found your problem, ive only just opened it up in HARDCMP and i noticed some HPs that dont need to be there also, FL has a gun limit, if you go over 33 guns shot at the same time, FL goes boom and ctds. ill do some tidying up

*UPDATE*

Its in game but it will need you to sort out the camera angles and such

i think the problem was you had some hardpoints that just were not used on a ship model, dockcamA for example, i only ever see that on something you dock with

well, here is all you need to get it in game

did yo copy in my shiparch.ini and of ini file data i gave you in that download? cus if your not moving once you have undocked your engines arent workin :S

to shiparch.ini, and use your mat and cmp file and goods.ini . but but ... im not sure we've hit the nail on the head.

im test the mod with the sur i export by MilkShape 3D,when i launch to space and reload,the server will crash.
and other, i use that sur ,launch to space and fly Far and away from the planet base(about 37K) and reload, the FLServer and Freelancer will not crash.

and other other, im del the sur file,start the game and unmount all the equipment on *weapons* and *external equipment* then launches the ship to space,the ship will be away from the planet (about 37K).

why is 37K?

P.S.oh god I dont know how to explain this problem, but you can try the mod. thanks a lot to you.

the mod i upload haven't use the sur file i export. it come from other model.

ok, try using JUST engines and weapons you would normally use, like loose the custom engine and in the good area, dont have it mount any guns just the things you would need to take off with (engine, radar etc). You need to basiclly strip the ship down to its first flyable state, nothing mounted only what you need kinda thing, then add things and go from there
