Wanted: System Builder

Hi!
I've been trying to build the Gemini Sector for our mod for the last 4 months.
All of my efforts have failed.
While I can build systems, bases, etcetera, I get a CTD after visiting 3 or so systems.

If anyone is willing to tackle this daunting task, I can email what I have:
All of the Sirius Sector systems have been rearranged to match the Gemini Sector.
Twenty-three new systems have been built.
Even have a DLL for it.
I don't know why it CTD's so much.
The entire mod, less the ships, is about 2.7mb.

Any help would be appreciated.

Wanna hear a good one?
After being completely frustrated, I started this thread.
After being completely Bored outa my Gourd, I took one last look at Gemini.

As I've tried every logical step to get it to work, I figured that it wouldn't hurt to try some illogical things.

1) I used a different word processor to save the files.
(which did absolutely nothing)
2) Instead of Modifying FL's 47 systems, I replicated them, ALL!!!
Believe it, or not, it worked!
Instead of their normal names, like Li02, Br01, etc.
I'm using Li02, ZBr01, etc
I've visited about nine systems before I got a CTD, but I think it's fixed, I'll check it out after dinner.

Well, I've found 6 really messed up systems...
And one of them is Omicron Theta!?!!
Can't figure that one out, or fix it.
41-GS, CMF-A, KM-252, Pendar's Star, and Padre, all CTD, can't get into them.
Perry looks nice, I've got a substitute station in there for now.
I've got eight ship docks stacked up next to the base with 5 battleships ready to launch!
Once I get a working Perry, I may add more docks.
I want the Perry system teaming with activity.
Aldebran, Hind's Variable N., and DN-N1912 also look good.
(Had to add some exclusion zones to keep asteroids outa the docking rings and TL's)
Hind's Variable N. has these really neat looking gold things flitting about.
119CE is nice, Surtur came out wierder than I'd hoped... a real eye popper.
(Everything has a "Dayglo" violet and blue glow to it.)
Pollux, Prospect, Castor, Metsor, and Shangri La still need to be checked.
As do the rest of the original FL systems.

I may need to create a few more systems to replace the bad ones.
I'm not quite sure what's causing them to not work.
Especially Omicron Theta.
That one is unchanged except for the jumpgates/holes.
And they're set up correctly, copied from working systems.

@Warzog, are you going to swap out the corrupted FL systems with their original FL files? Or is everything so interwoven that would be impossible?

I'm in the middle of correcting the jumphates/holes, which may be part of the problem.
Another problem appears to be the asteroid ini files.
Many of them have exclusion zones for the jumpgates/holes that were no longer required.
I need to delete or rename them as I go along.
The problem with Ew04 got me digging, and I think the gate/holes and asteroids are my main problems.
All of the new systems have their own asteroid files, and I never edited them to add exclusion zones for the gates, holes, tradelanes, or planets.
Which might explain why I had so many problems.
I concentrated on the system files, and never even considered the asteroid files as having any effect, other than visually.

Just found another snafu.
I used "Freelancer Explorer" to make the new systems I'm currently using.
While editing the Jumpgates/holes I noticed that in at least one of the bad systems, CMF-A, where I placed a Sun, and a Blackhole, it named both of them as Sun 1.
I wonder how many other systems have duplicates like that?

BTW-I'm about a quarter of the way through the 70 systems.
(Takes about an hour per system to change the gates, holes, and the asteroid files.)

Well, I've been busy with real-world issues, but I'm about a third of the way through the systems.
As I was editing Perry, I thought it would be nice to see some Paradigm's on patrol.
So, I stopped what I was doing, and created an encounter for them.
If it works, I'll spread them around Gemini...
(But only in systems without Tradelanes.)
AND!!!
I'll create one for the Battleships, too!
I still want to convert ALL of the Battleships to just one.

Well...
Only have 5 systems left to edit.
(Rheinland)
The Kusari and Liberty systems took all day!
And believe it, or not, New York was the 2nd easiest to do, only had to add 3 Jumpholes.
(Alaska was the easiest-1 gate, no change at all.)
Once I've got them all edited, I'll do a DLL for the gate/hole names, and then I'll test it.
With all of the errors I've found/edited/deleted, there might be chance it'll work.
We'll see...
Way my luck's been going, there's probably dozens of typos, and one last thing I've overlooked!
