To Firebase: help getting a canopy on the Slipstream

I was wondering if there are files/ways available for the canopy to show up on the Slipstream without actually fiddling with the .sur or .cmp files (don't have any modelling aptitude). Been away for a couple of months and can't find anything to show otherwise.

Help in this would be greatly appreciated as the Slipstream is my favourite ship.

mail me here and i'll give you the latest on the slipstream it is now black with insignia, and other ships i have created
