is it me, am I nutz?

Hi, I've been playing FW 1.66 for a couple nights now. I've visited 4 systems, and there are NO commodity price differences. well, ok I found 1 from Bespin to Corellia for 7000 in Bespin and 7106 in Corellia, but that's rediculous. How the heck do I make any money? missions aren't viable as the starter ship is so underpowered as to be useless in all but the lower paying missions (sub $200).

There's no way to make money unless you expect a player to mine niobium for hours (can only hold 10 at a time at $23 each).

Please tell me I'm doing somthing wrong and the game isn't really suppose to be like this??

yah, was wondering about that, too...

aside from that, I can't seem to dock with the Krath ship in Mandalore, gives ma a CTD...is that already known?

well, last night, i was able to upgrade to a $10.000 2 gun ship that would take some better guns I'd looted. Once I had those working, I was finally able to survive some missions, and make some money then upgrade. I'm currently flying the, um, Raven's Claw I think, the Kyle Katarn ship

I'm finally making some progress, and as I've finally been able to do some fighting to change factions, I'm starting to notice prices on an item here and there have a very small spread. Still no where near enough to be able to trade and make decent money, but maybe you just gotta do a bunch of faction killing first?

Missions have been a little odd though. I took one that said it was like level 14, to blow up a station, and it was hard if I got hit, but otherwise destroying the station then the 3 NPC's was reasonably doable. Then, i took a lvl 6 mission to kill a guy, and he has 2 cronies. They are all in Firespray's, and no matter what, they wipe my arse!! it's amazing how fast they shoot and take out my shields, and I've upgraded my shields.

Only other big issue, where the hell are the holo net relays and how do I know which one to deliver news to? I was in Yavin, and used FLdatastorm to find the location of the relay, and it shows it in a location that would be INSIDE the Gas Giant Yavin. Doesn't make sense unless you don't want us using that relay

Not all material is on the 'zero plane.' Many HoloNet relays exist above and below the general plane of travel (just like many of the bases in Mandalore).

And yes, we know the Leviathan II has decided to crash (there is a few crashes being experienced and unstability that we never encountered during testing). However, a patch will soon be publically released that is being tested on the RP Server that seems to be solving many of these issues.

Ok, I am playing on the SP side and have had the system consitently crash when you try to go into the bar at cloud city. I have tried to change up where I go before then but the results are the same desktop crash.

Also, like an above poster, your commodity system does not seem to make it where anyone who wants to trade can make any decent money with what they have to go through, if the prices change as your popularity with factions change then I apologize..lol

Other than a few balance issues with some of the ships this seems to be a pretty good conversion mod.

Oh, one other thing, your hyperspace buoys are not always showing up on the navmap after you have been to them. And if you use the patrols icon to see where they are its kinda picky as to which ones it shows....

and i apolagize for what im about to say, but after finely get it downlaoded i have noticed that there are a number of things i have found in the mod

1. no one to shot at
2. hyper thingyies are hard to locate
3. hyper thingyes acording to data storm go to multiple locations from one hole.
4. missle/torpedo ammo is 2-3 shots (or is that part of the movie and if so sorry i dont watch star wars)
5. cargo holds set to low i think
6. you need more weapons added in
7. textures of some of the bases are pure white.

agian i apolagize for how rude this must sound, however i just thought you would want to know about the bugs and or concerns i have come accrose with you mod.
