have you seen this container?

The container pictured below can be found in the game files, under:

\DATA\EQUIPMENT\MODELS\COMMODITIES\CRATES\cargo_consumer.3db

There's lots of models in the game files which for whatever reason didn't make it into the game. I was wondering if anybody has seen this one in particular anywhere in the game.

It is included in \DATA\EQUIPMENT\prop_equip.ini -- but I'm not sure what exactly it's doing there, and I don't know how to use the information there to help me figure out where the thing might be found in-game.

So here's the picture of the curious model:

Yes it's in the background of the interior of Benford Research Station while first talking to Van Pelt.Just look at the floor of the room you're in.

I noticed it also appears in the "crazy Lonnigan" cutscene before leaving for Mission 2.

Yeah that container is used in several SP story backgrounds.

I saw this container in the bar on planet Holstein, and in the bar somewhere in the Tau systems.
