mods download suggestion

Hi again everyone, I just explored few pages of mods page and found there are hundreds or maybe a thousand if we count different version as one. Each page can list only about 40 mods. It's not very convinient to search for mods especially when you sort by category. I want to see only General mods but I have to click so many times to get over another categories first. Maybe I miss a search mode or maybe we should rearrange things? Just a suggestion. Thank for your attention.

i totally agree with the above - i think we need a simple mod rating system to indicate what you're looking at like:
A: RPG oriented / storyline oriented / online oriented / exploration oriented
B: TC / Tweak (i would classify 90% of the mods as tweaks!) / Theme Mod / Expansion
C. Author last seen date - when was this person last seen, active on the forum? a pretty good indicator of whether the mod lives or not
D. online activity - how many servers run this EXE version #
E. user rating - using IP logging, cookies, and forum membership to validate votes on a 1-5 scale
F. user reviews - we know what the modders want us to, but what did players think? this is very important.

there's my 6 cents

This sounds like a great idea, especially for those people, like myself, that are very new to the game. In reality, however, pulling it off with all of the stuff that is already in the downloads section would probably be very difficult.

When you go to the downloads, click on the "Catagory" at the top, and it will sort them by catagories.

I understand that Finalday, the problem is that after I clicked/sorted, I still have to start from A (add-ons). I have to clicks endlessly to passover other lower categories in alphabet (E-editding) until G (general mods). Now how many times I have to click until Patches page? Another simpler idea is to list them all in a single page, that's enough I think.
