Greeting all. Forive me if I seem a bit vague on this one. I have been enjoying Freelancer for a while now. Have completed the storey line and ventured out into th eunknown to do my own thing. I have a worth of $3.7 Million, 108 mission completed with 641 kills. I have been across the galaxy, died a few times but I can not seem to get passed level 21. This is the level the story line left me at after the war was over. So how do I get beyond level 21. Some purchases tell me I need to be level 26 or such like but I do not seem to be capable of getting there. Can anyone tell me what I am missing or failing to do?

I don't know. Whe I finish the storyline I'm always LVL36 (because usually I was in a bad mood and shoot everything that I could reach). But actually if you have that worth you should've gone up some levels. Maybe restart the story and try to kill everyone? And I don't think that the small & cheap Random Missions in NewYork raise the worth or is a good way to earn LVL or worth AFTER the story

Many Thanks. Are you saying do not follow the storyline of being the good guy annd becoming the hero of Liberty? Maybe thats my error. I have not been back to Liberty space since the end of the storyline. I have been too keen on fixing my rep with those non system aligned groups. Maybe I should buy a torpedo launcher and down a few liberty battleships. Thannks for your help.

well, if you can kill battleships after the storyline, you are likely running a mod and one thing i've learned from these forums is that mods sometimes have very odd requirements for gaining levels.
