Remove HUD ''target boxes''?

Hi thanks for your time,

Is there anyway to remove the 'boxes' that around all ships/stations/ect.. on the screen. Im talking about all the green boxes, they just get in the way off all the beauty IMO

Before you flame me i searched extensivly through multiple site forums and google for a MOD that removes these annoying boxes, but ive had no luck. If you know of something I can use please help me out .

Note: I dont want a mod that adds or removes any features (ships/commodities/ect) Just looking for a simple Interface/HUD mod.

Thanks in advance

I think you can use the No HUD Screencapture mod by Cold_Void.

the EXE hack is probably what you want - the HUD hack doesn't remove targeted-target boxes, only the untargeted brackets along with the entire HUD

I had a hard time searching for ''freelancer EXE hack'' - Is there a more specific name or perhaps a link you could provide me with my friend?

Thanks again

@Cold_Void: You could first un-target by pressing 'Ctrl+T' -- haven't tried it though, and of course you'd know better than me.

@XGP: I think 'cheese on toast' was recommending that you go here: Limit breaking 101, and read that thread.

I did read that thread that was recomended to me, and frankly it confused the heck outa me ;p - I dont understand what values I should add, and Ive never used a hex editor - It seemed like a pretty complex process so I was opting for something easier - which is why im asking for a more specific name then "EXE hack". It would be great to get a file in which someone already did the hex editing because again, Im not confident in my ability...

I appologize for the double post but the editing function doesnt seem to work -

As for your suggestion of the NOHUD file - I want to be able to actually play the game and that MOD removes the entire HUD (IE Cant see any menus when docked at a station ect..)

And Cold Void was responding to me, Im the one that wants to remove the targeting boxes - and im well aware of how to 'untarget' something. I want to remove the boxes [or brackets as someone said, a better word I think on ALL ships - Not just the one currently targeted.

Sorry again for the repeated post - But people seem to be confused as to what i want to do, so i figgured a picture is worth a thousand words - The red circles highlight what i wish to remove:

Again, sorry for the repeated post and thank you for your time.
Edit -Fixed your link.
