They should port Freelancer to the Wii.

The wii-mote (without the nunchuk attachment) could easily control the game.

You can actually use the wiimote on a PC with the right software, but you need BlueTooth and you need to do some software tweaking. I don't know exactly how it works.

...from the paper dog chasing an asbestos cat through hell department.

Porting it to xbox might be possible, without the source code, but it would take far more work than its worth. One thing is for sure, MS won't be porting it anywhere.

I could see how it would more than likely go to the Xbox if it were to be ported to console; But I cannot imagine this game being able to play properly on a controller with analog sticks. However, with the wii-mote, it would pretty much be point-and-click, just like with a mouse. Too bad about the rights and ownership... I doubt Microsoft will ever touch on this game again, yet it belongs to them.

actually, i prefer the computer mouse to the wii-mote any day.

I have a Wii. the freelancer game would be quite fun but difficult to use on the wii. i could imagine a setup where the nunchuck and wiimote could be used like joysticks that one would imagine would be on a real ship.Maybe if it came with a console thing? (buttons for dock, go-to, missile, torp, views, ect.)
