How to get screenshots

I have long been wondering, how does one get the screensjots displayed here on Lancer's? I don't understand how to get rid of the HUD and alll in the actual game so that i can take my own shots.

press the print screen button then have a good look in your "my documents", (saves as a bitmap as i recall)

'no HUD' mod (removes HUD completely in space)

most people still crop their screenshots down, to remove a minimized HUD but this gives you a full resolution picture with minimal obstruction; meters, lists, the mouse-arrow, etc
