Remember, he was running as an escort to a freighter; the freighter captain was the one who stole the cargo (Trent helped him). Trent got a cut, and was in the process of selling his loot to Lonnigan when Freeport 7 was destroyed.

No mission does; you have to read Trent's neural net log, which updates as the game progresses. All of the information about the boron heist is available as soon as Trent lands on Manhattan after the Freeport 7 disaster.

Yeah... But evean in BW Startraker escort the Freighters, so I think Trent Ship was a Starflier or Startraker.
And don't forget GC have Startraker... and is a civilian Ship!!!
