NPCs can do chain fire, why can''t we?

It's been 2 years I've been playing Freelancer... plus the 1 year vacuum between them. And still I can't figure out how to chain fire my guns. Here's the example:

Centurion with:
1. Angelito Mk.III
2. Angelito Mk.III
3. Tizona del Cid
4. Salamanca Mk.I
5. Salamanca Mk.1
6. Sunstalker Missile

Well, nevermind about the Sunstalker as it is missile and I use it only in some circumstances.

What I want to ask is this:
Fellow NPCs can shoot Angelitos and Salamancas as if they're rapid firing guns. But I do know that they're medium-firing (4.00). So, how do they manage to shoot them one by one respectively in such manner? For instance: weapons number 1-5-4-2-3 and then back to 1, let the cycle begins again... in a blazing fast speed?

I know that taping number 1 5 4 2 3 can be done but... that's just lame...

My friends keep on challenging me for... Sabres Omega-5 Minefield race!!!!

There is no way to set stagger fire. You can press say 1-3-2-5-4 and then immediately hold down the right mouse button. That will give you a stagger fire effect. I always use it, especially on targets that are almost destroyed.

Whaaa...? There's no other way? Well then, I've got to get used to it. Thanx for the input anyway ^.^
