Perishable Items & How to Preserve Them

Is there any way to preserve perishables? i.e. In a freighter? Because I bought 1 thing of MOX to see how long it lasted, and I couldn't even get it out of the Leeds system.

Short of modding it, in game some hings have a short shelf life, so sell them fast.

Along your way, land, sell the good, then immediately buy it back. You'll then notice that your decaying good has been restored to full "health". Launch, continue your journey and repeat.

Actually, all you have to do is jettison it in space, then traktor it again. It will be fully regenerated.
